Report has shown that Apple is in fact working on two glasses; The first product will be a combination of AR-VR and will launch in 2022, while the second one will be a full-fledged AR Glass and will launch the following year. Apple is said to be in talks with third-party developers to build an ecosystem around the new products.

Apple Glasses are not the only product that we may see in Prosser’s video. In a follow-up tweet, he adds that users will also be shown ‘Starboard’, which seems to be the codename of the UI designed for Apple Glasses

This new launch timeline contradicts the one mentioned by analyst Ming Chi-Kuo recently.

As per the report, Kuo said that the Apple Glasses could be launched sometime in 2022 “at the earliest”.

Reports in the past have also hinted that the company’s VR glasses will come with a high-resolution display and a light-weight design. Report also suggests that the device would be powered by a new operating system called the rOS or reality OS.

Apple’s AR and VR smart glasses have been in rumours ever since last year. While some reports hint the eye-gear to arrive sometime in 2022, prolific tipster Jon Prosser thinks that Apple may drop the product by next year itself.

Prosser says that Apple Glasses can arrive between March to June 2021, which will be the same time when Apple holds its WWDC conference. The tipster even claims that he has seen the glasses and they are “sleek as hell”. But that’s not all, Prosser plans to show them in a video soon.
