Celebrate what is good. Appreciate what is right with the world, what works well, what contributes positive value. You would not get through the day without a whole lot of things going right. Take a moment to remind yourself of the good fortune you normally enjoy without even thinking about it.

Much more often than not, your phone calls go through, your internet connection works, and the lights come on when you flip the switch. Just those three highly reliable services add great value to your life, and there are many more. Yes, your seat is cramped and the flight is thirty minutes behind schedule. However, for a modest price you can safely travel to the other side of the world in just a few hours, and that’s pretty amazing.

There’s much to be repaired, much to be improved, many things that fail to go right, numerous disputes to be resolved. Yet there’s a whole lot more that works very well, and adds greatly to life, time after time.Do your part to appreciate, support, protect, and preserve all the good things in life. Though you have the luxury of taking them for granted, you certainly wouldn’t want to be without them.

To the new creation, the Word of God is a mirror, and  not a compilation of commandments to be obeyed. The Christian  is a Word practitioner. This is something many are yet to understand. For  example, when you read in Ephesians 5:3-4: “But fornication, and all  uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither  filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks,” it’s  not a commandment. It’s not telling you what you must not do. Rather, it’s showing you who you are; the  righteousness of God in Christ, with a sanctified heart, mind, and tongue.

The  Word of  God reflects  your true nature, identity,  origin, and heritage in Christ.  The more you look at the Word, the  more you see yourself. God’s Word is life; something to live out.

For  example,  when Jesus  said, “A new commandment  I give unto you, That ye  love one another; as I have  loved you, that ye also love  one another” (John 13:34), He was  addressing men and women of the senses;  people who weren’t born again. But being  born again, and having received the Holy Spirit,  the Bible says, “…the love of God is shed abroad in  our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Romans 5:5).

We’re  not now  commanded to  love; we’re born of  love; we’re the offspring  of love; love is our nature. Thus,  Romans 5:5 is a description of who you  are. Once you can accept it, you become it.  That’s the principle! When you read something in  the New Testament that sounds like, “Don’t do this  or don’t do that,” it means we’re those who don’t do  such things! It’s a picture of you.

The  Word,  particularly  the Epistles,  paint the picture  of the new creation.  That’s how come as you’re studying  and meditating on the Scriptures, suddenly, the  Word of God comes alive to you! It then becomes how you see yourself every day.

That’s  the miracle  of growth, because  as you discover who you are  in the Word, you discover your beauty,  and your glory increases. It’s a life of  ever-increasing glory through the Word. Hallelujah.

2 Corinthians 3:18 ; But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Hebrews 10:16; This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

2 Corinthians 3:2-3; Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: [3] Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

When we talk about wisdom and understanding, but we also must be thankful. We must never forget that thankfulness, serving God and trusting Him are a choice. We have free will of choice, but we are not free from the circumstances and penalties of our sins. Trusting God doesn't depend on circumstances or someone else. Thankfulness is a very important decision. Without thankfulness, we lose sight of Jesus and we can have victim mentality, "why me?"

Philippians 4 :6-8; 6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.8. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

We can make our request known unto God. It is easy as a mathematics formula. We must make our prayers known  with supplication and thanksgiving. We have supernatural peace through Christ. It is important to be thankful in our thoughts, speech and hearts. We must depend on God to give us the supernatural spirit of peace. God wants us to be thankful everyday. His mercies are new every morning. Jesus Christ is the High Priest over us and we must present our offering of thanksgiving to Him. We have power and authority which is connected through thanksgiving. We must enter His courts with praise.

You should want to be aware of His presence all the time. When you lose your thankful heart, things go downhill. God is greater than any problem we can face. He will take an impossible situation and make it possible. What the enemy means for evil, God will turn it around for good. You can close your eyes to things you don't want to see, but you can't close your heart to your feelings. One of the greatest gifts we can give one another is the purity of our attention. Jesus is the greatest gift of all. We must show care to one another and give them our love and attention. We can be thankful that we can teach our children how to interact with one another and others. You must be thankful for opportunities to forgive. Enter His courts with praise. (Psalms 100:4). Thanksgiving can't be done with bitterness or anger in your heart. In good times, praise God; in bad times, trust God; in all times, thank God. Thankfulness is a choice of will.

Psalms 89: 1-2, 6, 13-15; 1. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. 2. For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thou faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.6. For who in heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD? 13. Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.14. Justice and judgement are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.15. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in thy light of thy countenance."

David is giving thanks to God and God is speaking of His covenant with David. We need to keep our eyes on Him. He must be glorified in everything, everyday, all day long. God will not force you to be thankful. God wants to be glorified even when we are going through storms in our lives.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (Matthew 5:44).

It's clear that there’ll always be those who might dislike you, persecute you, and despise you; but you’re only permitted to respond to them in love. The actions or attitude of such people should never provoke you to act contrary to your true nature, which is love. God is love, and anyone who loves is of God, and knows God.

The summation of God’s character is love; we’re therefore to emulate Him by walking in love. Ephesians 5:2 (AMPC) admonishes us to “…walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.” 1 John 4:78 says, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

In our journey of faith, there’ll always be those who’ll test us; everyone who relates with you is placed there by God for your benefit; whether they’re helping you or they’re against you doesn’t make any difference. It  doesn’t stop God’s plan of promoting you. If they’re kind, loving, and helpful to you, appreciate them and praise God for them; if they’re otherwise, love them nonetheless.

If  someone  accuses you  falsely, for example,  or you’re lied against,  don’t get upset and try  to justify your innocence to  the point of acting in a manner  that’s not befitting to righteousness. Rather,  keep walking in love. Love is a force—the greatest  power in the universe—and it’ll always win.

Our lovewalk is the primary proof that we love the Lord,  and it speaks of our oneness and likemindedness with  Him. Romans 5:5 says the love of God has been shed abroad  in our hearts by the Holy Spirit; that means you have the capacity  to love as He does. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye  are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35). What a way to distinguish ourselves from the rest of the world!

Luke 6:2735; But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, [28] Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. [29] And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. [30] Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. [31] And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. [32] For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. [33] And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. [34] And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. [35] But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Ephesians 4:13; I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, [2] With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; [3] Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

There will always be those who dislike you, persecute you and despise you.  But you are permitted to only respond to them in love. The actions and attitudes of others should never provoke you to act  outside of your true nature which is love. God is love and anyone who loves is of God. God's character is love.(1 John 4:78). God says we should love one another. There will always be those who test us. Everyone who relates with you is placed in your life by God. No matter if they help you or against you, it doesn't stop God from promoting you. No matter how they treat you, you must love them. Love is the greatest power in the universe. God has made you a dispenser of goodness.

Jeremiah 32:27; "Behold I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? Flesh here refers to all mankind. In this verse, God doesn't exclude anyone. He treats everyone equal. Regardless of race, creed or religion.John 1:45; 4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

Christ is the light of all mankind. Everyone in every land. He is the light of the world. His light brings you out of the darkness and bondage of sin and into His glorious light of righteousness, sanctification and grace.

Mark 16:1516; 15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

It is a matter of belief. Those excluded as shown in this verse, are unbelievers. Every man is created equal in God's eyes. It should be the same with all of us in this world. There shouldn't be any hatred because of race, religion, or culture. Jesus is fair and just. He has never excluded anyone. It is wrong to live a segregated life. God created all of us. You can't say you have a person because of their religion or skin color or culture and claim to love God.

The Word of God says you are a liar. (1 John 4:78, 1920). A person who has a heart for God, will love and accept everyone of different races, cultures and religions. You must treat them as Christ would treat them. John 15:12; "This is my commandment, That ye love one another as I have loved you."

We must be United in Christ and show love to everyone in every land. There should never be a separation. We all should possess the "Fruits Of The Spirit" and manifest those traits to others. (Galatians 5:2223). Notice love is the first of the "Fruits Of The Spirit." Where there is love, all these other traits will follow. "United we stand, divided we fall." We must come together united in prayer. We all need God. The enemy is lurking around seeking those whom he can devour and destroy. (1 Peter 5:8). If you have hatred in your heart, you give the enemy a foothold in your life. He will destroy you if you let him. We must live a united life that glorifies God. We are all created in the image of God and in the same spirit. Let love continue to reign in your heart forever.

Dear  Father,  you’ve given  me the ability  to love like you,  and I’m so grateful!  You’ve granted me an understanding  of the extraordinary dimensions of your  love; that love radiates through me profusely to  others! Thank you for making me the dispenser of your goodness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
