As drivers, we step down the clutch pedal of a manual car in a traffic jam to sustain the engine and keep it running. This may cause a little discomfort to our foot but that is the best way to keep moving in that snail pace moving part of the journey.I call this 'endurance' the human obedience aspect in our faith journey. It is like the continuous stirring of the porridge to get it smooth on the fire. We sacrifice our little comfort to get the best meal. We gain everything and loses nothing for obeying the will of God.

Ways are pathways to destinations. There are however various ways in which people embark on to reach their destinations or eventual destinations. One mysterious thing about these ways is that, whoever refuses to take any pathway has unconsciously taken a way that will lead him/her into a particular destination. But majorly we have two ways; ways ordered by the intellect of men and ways ordered by divine order (God). When we walk it God’s way, victory is ascertained because it is error free. But when it is navigated under men intellect, it will lead to death.

The path of the righteous is level; o Upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth. Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. Isaiah 26:7-8

It is the Lord Almighty who alone can make the way of a man smooth. Without God, the way will be full of stains, pains and rains, which will make the adventure a pathway to death. That is why the word of the Lord said, the ways of a man is always right in his own eyes. But there is a way that seems right to a man and the end of it is death. Of course, when you set your plan, when you design how it’s going to be like, it appears promising and feasible. But the calamity is that man is made unto God, so without him, you can do nothing. And that nothing means not being able to choose it right on our own. Same way the fish cannot perform any wonder outside of the water, so man cannot make the right decision outside of God.

But the righteous. That is, those who belonged to God and trust in God, their ways are ordered by God. According to our opening scripture, what they do is that, they meditate in the word of the Lord, they walk around it, until the voice of the Lord is clear about the way they are to go. Their movement is inspired by the divine order. You can never miss it, when your ways are ordered by God. Listen carefully, some of you might think, hearing from God is something for the most spiritual. No! Ruminate on the verse above very well, the righteous people walk in the ways of the laws and wait for him. That is, they stay with the word until the word bears the fruit of instructions unto them. The voice of the spirit is the word. God is for you. Walk in the right way. In all your ways, acknowledge God and he will direct your steps.

Almighty God will arise and protect you and your family from the arrows of enemies or from any danger. God will give you victory over all challenges and problems that people have mocked you. You will be happy and glorify God for a lifting up in your life. Your needs shall miraculously be provided for you everyday in Jesus mighty Name. Amen. Good morning and have a glorious day.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24:4-5)

And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (Mark 13:5-6)

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. (Luke 21:8)

We believe there's coming a day that when God will judge the world by Jesus Christ. Now, there has to be some standard, somewhere, that He has to judge by.
Well, because so many people today would say, even people say they are, "Christ," and, "I am Christ," and, "I am of Christ," and, "This denomination is of Christ, or, this denomination." It would be a bit confusing if there wasn't some standard.

Now, if I go ask the Catholic people in the building here tonight, "What do you think God will judge the world by?" They'd say, "Why, the standard of the Catholic church." I might ask about maybe some other denomination. Why, it would say, "Why, the standard of our church." They might not right out confess it, but our actions prove that's what we think. But then which church would be right? See, we wouldn't know where to go. And then it isn't by any certain group, any church, any denomination. It's going to be by His Word. See, that's the standard.

See? For He had said in Saint John the 1st chapter, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us," the same yesterday, today, and forever. So this is one thing that He can judge the world by, that all of us will have to answer to: this Book. And so I trust that God will open this Book this week to us in evangelistic messages, and in interpretations that He will give Himself of His Word, just the way it's written, and interpret it to us, and then show Himself alive here with us, to do that.

Now, there's many things that we can say. And men can say anything, I guess, they desire to say. But to God to say it, that makes it right. And then if God says it, and then comes back and proves that He did say it, then there's no question there.
Not that alone, every relationship must begin with God. Many people will not like you and many times you will fail to do what God has called you to do. Many people will attack you because of your relationship with God or because of jealousy over your success or many other reasons.  With God you have security, commitment, intimacy with Him and above all He loves you. When it comes to religion, there are over 400 denominations in the world and many of them teach that a man should not be taught by a woman. A woman who has Jesus is powerful. When you are with Jesus, there is no need to fear or be afraid. The words "fear not" are written in the Bible 365 times. That's reassurance that you need never fear. Luke 24:49; "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."
You are clothed with power from above. Jesus is with you always. In the story of David and Goliath, everyone was afraid of Goliath. But David, who was much smaller than Goliath, had a giant heart because God was in him and he had strong faith in God. God is bigger than any Goliath you may face in your life. You have a relationship with God and you should marry someone who is also a Christian and has a relationship with God. Be not unequally yoked. (2 Corinthians 6:14). You have a covenant with Jesus. God is able to bless you in the light what you do in darkness. What you do in honor, will come back to honor you. When you are faithful in little, God will bless you. Your relationship with God is not a joke. You must please God rather than men. (Acts 5:29). When you have a relationship with God, you will have everything you need. He will bless you with the right person if you are single. A man must love and cherish his wife and should feel thankful and special when she reciprocates that love.

You must always be led by the Spirit and not by the flesh or worldly standards. 1 Samuel 17:36; "Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God." David is testifying that he killed the lion and the bear with his bare hands. When you have a relationship with God, you are victorious and prosperous. Let's do things God's way. You must always believe and have faith. You must speak your faith in order to activate it. You must believe in order to do the works of God.
Matthew 17:20; "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." The main concept is belief. Mark 9:23; "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." Believe in God who has called you, regardless of how much others may persecute and belittle you. Listen to the voice of God and do the will of God.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

People refer to Christians as “believers,” but that’s a general colloquial communication that tends to bring Christianity into some mundanity. Yes, the Bible says, “And these signs shall follow them that believe…” (Mark 16:17), but when you believed, something happened. We didn’t “believe” to become “believers”; we believed to receive something: the God-life! In John 6:47, Jesus said, “…He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” We believed so that we may possess “everlasting life”—the God-life.

We’re more than believers. To elucidate this further, let’s look at it this way: If you took an entrance examination into a certain institution, and you were successful, you’d become a student, right? Sure! Having already been admitted as a student, you wouldn’t call yourself a candidate or an applicant to the school anymore, because you’re now a student! You were an applicant, so you could become a student.

Likewise, we believed to become possessors of the God-life; we didn’t believe for nothing, or to be merely referred to as “believers.” Our opening verse says, “…whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Every “believer” in Christ got, and became, something: we got eternal life, and became God-men and God-women. The Apostle Peter puts it rightly: we’re partakers of the divine nature; associates of the God-kind (2 Peter 1:4).

You’ve transcended from a believer. Believing was the verb to take you into possessing everything that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ wrought on your behalf. No wonder the Bible says all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21).

Take possession of all that’s yours in Christ and enjoy your triumphant life in Him. He came, not just to reveal the Father to us, but to bring us into oneness with Him, and make us gods!
Corinthians 5:17, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he  is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Peter 1:3‭-‬4 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that  is in the world through lust.

I Corinthians 3:21, Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: I Corinthians 3:21 NKJV
Today, the Lord invites us to trust. We don't need to pretend or be hypocritical to merit His favour. God chose to create us, liberate us from sin, seal us with His Holy Spirit, enter into friendship with us, and remain our absolute provider. We didn't merit any of these so there is no need to seek these through pretense.
God will keep loving us. There is no sense in lobbying for what is already provided. Ours is to remain in His presence, avoid pretense and rely completely on Him. There is no reason to be afraid. The blessed assurance remains that the creator, loving, caring and powerful saviour is our Lord and God. Through Jesus alone can we be righteous enough to get instructions from God. God loves you and sent Jesus to redeem you, so he can relate with you. Accept Jesus Christ today if you have not. Jesus loves you.
