Take risks in your life. If you win, you can lead; if you lose, you can guide. People are not what they say but what they do; so judge them not from their words but from their actions. When someone hurts you, don't feel bad because it's a law of nature that the tree that bears the sweetest fruits gets maximum number of stones. Take whatever you can from your life because when life starts taking from you, it takes even your last breath. In this world, people will always throw stones on the path of your success. It depends on what you make from them -a wall or a bridge. Challenges make life interesting; overcoming them make life meaningful.

There is no joy in victory without running the risk of defeat. A path without obstacles leads nowhere. Past is a nice place to visit but certainly not a good place to stay. You can't have a better tomorrow if you are thinking about yesterday all the time. If what you did yesterday still looks big to you, then you haven't done much today. If you don't build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs. If you don't climb the mountain; you can't view the plain.

Don't leave it idle - use your brain. You are not paid for having brain, you are only rewarded for using it intelligently. It is not what you don't have that limits you; it is what you have but don't know how to use. What you fail to learn might teach you a lesson. The difference between a corrupt person and an honest person is: The corrupt person has a price while the honest person has a value. If you succeed in cheating someone, don't think that the person is a fool.Realize that the person trusted you much more than you deserved. Honesty is an expensive gift; don't expect it from cheap people.

Salvation is a process of dying to flesh and getting alive in spirit through the quickening of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is meant to cause the flesh not to have say but the spirit you under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to have the say. Salvation means you have given up your being for the sake of the word. That the word may be alive through you and that you die. A product bought is not for the seller but for the buyer.Anyone saved, they have been bought by the price of the death of Christ Jesus that means they are not of themselves but they are of God. The buyer maintains what he sells, so it is God will maintain those he has bought.
Freedom for man only dwells in God through his word . No man will give another man freedom. It is by the word that God delivers unto man that which he intended unto him. When the word abides by man. Man begins to enjoy what was for him in the garden of eden. Man needs the word of God to live on earth otherwise he is a dead man existing on the earth.

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse..... Colossians 1:2. Saint is probably not a name we would use for ourselves, but the apostle Paul often called believers "saints" in the New Testament (Ephesians 1:1, Colossians 1:2). Did he call them saints because they were perfect? No. These people were human and therefore sinful. What then did he have in mind? The word saint in the New Testament means that one is set apart for God. It describes people who have a spiritual union with Christ (Ephesians 1:3-6). The word is synonymous with individual believers in Jesus (Romans 8:27) and those who make up the church (Acts 9:32).
Saints have a responsibility through the power of the Spirit to live lives worthy of their calling. This includes, but is not limited to, no longer being sexually immoral and using improper speech (Ephesians 5:3-4). We are to put on the new character traits of service to one another (Romans 16:2), humility, gentleness, patience, love, unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:1-3), obedience, and perseverance during hardship and suffering (Revelation 13:10, 14:12). In the Old Testament, the psalmist called saints "the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight" (Psalm 16:3).
Our union with Christ makes us saints, but our obedience to God's Word through the power of Holy Spirit makes us saintly. Oh, to be filled with His life divine, oh, to be clothed with His power and might; oh, to reflect my dear Savior sublime, always to shine as the saints in light! Saints are people whom God's light shines through. Lord Jesus, that I may follow You as a saint and to be Christ-like in all things, Lord release upon me the grace, help and Spirit that I need. Amen.

Now, Jacob was promised by Laban that after working for seven years he would receive Rachel as his bride but after the wedding night he realized he was conned and instead of Rachel he was given Leah.

Before you receive your desire, sometimes you are given a disappointment. Before you receive what you want, life may first give you what you don't want. What do you do when life gives you a Leah instead of a Rachel? What do you do when men break their promises? What do you do when people you trusted betray you and breaks your heart? What do you do when you expected a big yes but life gives you a cold No?

Jacob never gave up, he never complained, he did not become bitter but he said, "I accept the situation but I will still pursue my Rachel, I will go after what I wanted at first"

That is the attitude of a winner. Make a decision not to give in to the disappointments but pursue the desires of your life. Follow after your vision. Put the Leah behind you and go after the Rachel!

Be blessed as you go after your Rachel. In Jesus Christ you have a friend who sticks closer than a friend. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. John 15:13

A friend in need is a friend of which it is true. As a person you have a friend or a group of friends you hang out with. Everyone has them. You may have that special person [your Boy or your Girl] whom you can count on, can confide with or that person who seems to know and understand you, who says the right things to keep you take back to focus when you seem overwhelmed by some situations. That true friend whom you can give a twentyone gun salute for or as they say Buss a blank. Friends can have both good or negative influences on us.

They're both good and bad friends and in life researches show at times that you are the average of the five people you hang with. You have the average intelligence, understanding, wealth and drive as these five. So if you hang out with a tribe of nincompoops, vagabonds, riotous living people you will be a nincompoop too, they're no two ways about it. If they're motivated to achieve goodness, success and they're walking in moral uprightness, integrity and in the fear of the Lord God, you shall also be and do the same. Birds of the same feathers fly together. Ducks don't fly high with eagles.

So you must be very careful in choosing who you let in your inner circle. Those five will either make you or break you. As a child of God in Christ you those men or women should be men or women who build you up to become a better person or the best version of yourself you can be in your Christian walk of faith.

David had good friends who kept him going when times were hard, the Abishai's, Ittai's and Shammah's. Daniel had the God fearing princes Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. The twelve disciplines had Jesus of Nazareth as a true friend. He built them up to be good God fearing Fisher's of men.

In the 15th chapter of the Gospel of John, Jesus says to his disciples, no longer shall I call you servants but “my friends”. Jesus preached and encouraged love between them. The brotherly love that would make a brother lay down his life or sacrifice his own for he's brothers sake.

Here comes an illustration of the motion picture Troy. In Troy they are two brothers, Hector the eldest whose heir to Priam their father, King of Troy. Then the youngest Paris whose a playboy and kinda of a "spoilt little brat". On behalf of the father Priam, while on a sensitive Diplomatic visit to another Kingdom to forge and foster alliances and regional cooperation between Troy and the other Kingdom, Paris courts and seduces Helen the Queen and wife of the King of the country which was hosting them.

Helen elopes with Paris and they go back to Troy. At 1st, Hector the older brother is incensed by Paris's recklessness when he gets to know that Paris has stolen the King's wife, but he learns to live with it.

Then afterwards the two Kingdoms go to war. However before blood is spilled on the Battlefield, the King whose wife was stolen from, proposes that Him and Paris go one on one to the finish. The  winner would take Helen and the war will be called off. They agree but Paris has never hurts even a spider in his life, he's no soldier let alone a killer.

The two men fight and right when Paris is thoroughly beaten, he crawls to the feet of his brother Hector crying and bleeding. His foe is determined to finish him off, even to strikehim down at he's brother's feet, but Hector intervenes in his brothers favour and instead kills the other King.

Note that violence should not be considered the best way of solving conflict and as the appropriate way to solve differences. Hector loved his brother so much, though knowing that he was a screw up he'd still defend him from the enemy. Our Lord Jesus had greater love for all men, that he lay down his life for his friends at Calvary.

By laying his life down, Jesus knew it would be of great benefit to his friends and for all men. He was a sacrificial offering for the remittance of Man's sin. While nailed at  Golgotha, after having cried out with a loud voice yielding up his spirit and dying, the Bible says the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom Matthew 27:51.

In the consequences of the above, this is what it symbolised, Jesus the Son of the Most High God entered and ushered us once and for all into the Most Holy Place of the Throne room by means of his own blood, thus securing our eternal redemption Heb 9:12. On our own we could never be saved not even through good works but only by the blood of Jesus. Him rising from the dead...oh my!

Our true friend Jesus who loves us so much, the Conquering Lion of Judah, the Word of God, the First Born of Creation, the Bright Morning Star, the Bread of Life, Alpha and Omega, the King of Kings Jesus Christ rose triumphantly breaking the power of the devil over he's friends lives and claiming their salvation.

Not only was he [Jesus Christ] raised from the dead but the body also [the Church i.e. us God's children]  was also risen. Our source of Authority is in the Resurrection and Exaltation of Christ by God. He has raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus Eph 2:6. The Believer is the Righteousness of God in Christ. So you have a “super life” in our friend Jesus Christ
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease (Genesis 8:22).

Not that alone, the purpose of any seed is harvest. A seed is useless if it doesn’t, or isn’t going to produce a harvest. Once this is clear to you, the principle of giving and receiving becomes easy to understand. Sowing and reaping is a spiritual law in the Kingdom of God. When you sow a seed, be it monetary or material, your focus should be on your harvest, not on the seed you’re sowing. Galatians 6:7 says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

When you sow an orange seed, you’re to expect orange fruits, but first the tree will grow and then produce oranges. When you sow a corn seed, your expectation is a harvest of corn. You don’t have to start praying for the earth to produce a harvest if that seed is planted in the right environment. There’s no need for prayer when the law of sowing and reaping has been applied. Thus, in your giving to the Lord, your harvest is guaranteed.

Where many have missed it is, not focusing on the harvest in their giving as they should. They sow money-seed and are praying about their seed, even though the harvest is sure, and certainly bigger and greater than the seed itself. Just one seed is able to produce a bountiful harvest.

The Lord Jesus likened this to how the Kingdom of God functions: “…the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come” (Mark 4:26-29).

The task of sowing or giving isn’t, and should never be a mystery to you at all. Sow your seeds with confidence and great expectations with the picture of your harvest in your mind. Don’t ask, “How will the harvest come?” Every time you give, you set an irrevocable law in motion, and according to the law, whatever you give is multiplied back to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over (Luke 6:38).

Ecclesiastes 11:1-4, Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. [2] Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth. [3] If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be. [4] He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

Luke 6:38, Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

There is a principle that we children of God needs to know for us to live the abundant life. If we don’t know this, things we remain just as they were and there would be no major change. It is the simple principle of Need/Desire. If you want God to show up on your behalf you’ve got to really show it to him that you need what you require from him and why you need it. The message Jesus brought into this world was a message to meet those who need/desire and thirst after it.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified. Isaiah 61:1-3

If we look critically at what Jesus has come to do here on earth through the Holy Spirit, we will see one common trend in it all. And it’s that the message was given to him to some selected set of people. The people who need it, the people who wants it, the people who desires it, the people who thirst and hunger for it; are the recipient of the message. Meanwhile, the mystery is just that, we are all recipient of it, but not everyone knows that they need it, and that is why they would never receive it.

This principle is simple, we need to show that we need it before any deed can be done. And when we are talking about this need/desire and hunger, it has to be in accordance with the will of God. Hannah prayed for a son, she needs him, though she never gets herself a son until she asks it right. Until her need met with the right motives, no deed was done.

We can get anything and everything from God if we would just show him we need it, thirst for it, and ask in accordance with his word. Don’t let anyone tell you it is impossible, the reason you don’t get it from him is because of your unbelief that it doesn’t work. If you think it doesn’t work, it won’t work for you, you’ve got to believe that he is and a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus is for you, ask him according to his will, show your need to him and he will give you all things.

Accept Jesus today, you surely need what he has bought in abundance into this world. Jesus loves you and desires to share with you his blessings and glory now and in eternity.
Dear Father, I thank you for the knowledge of your Word that has come to my spirit today. Now, when I sow seeds, I know that the law of sowing and reaping is operational. Therefore, my harvest is as sure as your Word is sure. Thank you for multiplying my seeds sown and increasing the fruits of my righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
