Topic : Keeping your treasures in Heaven

But lay up for yourself treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasures is, there will your heart be also. Mathew 6:20-21 NKJV

The world we live in has lots of treasures and different kinds of currency and appearance. Here we have; gold, silver, money, diamonds, coal, riches such as buildings, business, vehicles, families, children and many more valuable commodities and resources for life. Now having all these things and at the same time you’re a Christian is not bad but what makes it bad is how you define them in your life compared to the creator. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10 Money is not evil but what turns it to be evil is the too much love you have for it. That is why one day Jesus came up with such amazing statement; “For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God”. Mark 10:25 This means that; because of the too much love one have for money or his riches, may cause him or her loss the greatest treasures in heavenly kingdom.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36. The good and profiting investment on the earth are those done in the kingdom where you enjoy that which the Lord had fully multiplied in heaven where the thieves and robbers can’t break to steel. Allow your money go and preach the gospel to many people’s lives that are really suffering with no basic needs such as; clothing, food, shelter, medication, education, sanitation, security, financial income and so forth.

Sowing or giving as help into another is the same as sowing or giving back that which you have sown or gave in a multiplied way. You can help someone with money, food, clothes or even with your energy to carry something but not knowing that in doing so, you’re doing the same unto yourself. Soon or latter, it will come back to you in a multiple way whether good or bad, the principal in the Bible is very clear (what you sow is what you reap). If you want love from someone, sow love, if you what patience from people, so patience, if you want money, sow money, if you want joy, then sow joy because what you reap depends on the kind of seeds sow.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your message today, your Word is Spirit, educating and edification in all truth and love. By your Word, teach me more on how to entrust all my treasurers with you that which you trust me with as a financial Stewart. I dominate money by investing it into your kingdom. Glory to God!
